CADStoreToFilefor arrays of type boolean, stored with
CADAddArray. The error occurred only when INSERT ELEMENT was used on the array, not when ARRAY BOOLEAN(..; n) was used to set the size. It was caused by an error internal to 4D.
CADGetCADFilenow displays any file of filetype CAD ('Katz') and also any file that ends with a period '.' followed by theDosFileType parameter.
CADGetDXFFilenow displays any file of filetype ’tEXT' and also any file that ends with '.DXF'.
CADSetPrintSpecsis ignored when printing. You can set the print quality in the Printer Properties dialog box of the printer driver instead. Print quality and other Printer Properties are stored with the CAD drawing.
The solution at the user level is to decrease thePrintResolution (e.g. to 300 dpi) or to increase the print quality in the job dialog box of the printer driver (e.g. to Best).
Unfortunately, setting thePrintResolution to
may have the same effect, as CAD will choose a resolution the printer driver
offers (e.g. 600 dpi) although, in fact, the printer driver can’t print correctly
at that resolution. CAD has no way to know or solve this driver problem.
The solution at the user level is the same as above.
CADPageSetupuser settings on Macintosh are ignored on Windows and vice versa. They are stored both, but independently.
CADPrintnow accepts a new (optional) parameter that lets you set the name of the printout in print-monitors and print-spoolers.
kCADImplementationRestrictionin the before phase of an input layout. The cause is a bug in 4D. Please, use
CADZoominstead (cf. notes 273, 147, 131 and 126).
